Come On Down For More New Coolers

Does everyone get really excited about coolers, or is that just us? Because we are still very excited about new equipment at the co-op. Not only did our Produce section get fancy new duds, now our Dairy section is all dressed up, and the Meat and Seafood section is almost done changing over too!

The new Dairy, Meat and Seafood cases are so lovely and elegant (you can have an elegant cooler, we promise). Doors on every section mean a tidy appearance, and more importantly have increased energy conservation. They might look black, but these things are definitely greener than the old open cases.

It’s been a noisy–and slightly confusing–few days at CCM. We moved all of our dairy stock to a temporary cooler, and then back again, then we did that with all of our Meat and Seafood items. At the same time equipment shifted around the floor and new refrigeration was slotted together like a jigsaw puzzle. We apologize for any inconvenience during your shop and assure you that we’re working as quickly as we can to get things into their rightful places as soon as possible. In the meantime, please ask if you have any trouble marking something off your shopping list. Or, if you want to avoid the hubbub while we get these updates installed, take advantage of Curbside Pick-up, and we’ll do the shopping for you!
