Community Co-op Market is owned and operated by people just like you, and becoming a member is easy. You join with a one-time investment and you get a lifetime of savings, as well as a vote to help guide us on our mission to strengthen the local community and make sure everyone has access to healthy, delicious food.

Membership in the co-op is open to anyone aged 18 or older and is an investment of $100. Pay all at once, or split it up into four $25 installments.

It’s easy to join! Next time you’re in the store, tell your cashier you want to become a member. Then fill out the short information form and make your equity investment – that’s it! Your investment in the co-op is refundable as long as the co-op is operating at a stable profit level. There are no annual fees.

New members will receive their member packet immediately which contains a member card with a unique member number, a share certificate, and exclusive new member coupons.

Member Perks

Co-op membership is voluntary and all shoppers are welcome at Community Co-op Market. However, membership has its perks!

How to Become a Member

Complete a membership application in-store – it only takes a moment, ask your cashier to get you started! In addition to your application, there are three options for which you can purchase your share:

  • Make a one-time investment for $100.

  • Split your investment into four $25 installments – start receiving Member Perks as soon as your first installment is complete!

  • Apply for a Healthy Food Access Membership. Any CCM member who is enrolled in a financial assistance program may qualify for this program.

How It Works

A CCM membership belongs to the individual who signs the application. Only that person’s spouse, partner, children and other dependent household members may use the member number when shopping. Only the signer may exercise the full rights of ownership. View a copy of our Membership Agreement and Bylaws.

  • Provide your membership card or phone number to your cashier on each shopping trip to earn Member Perks. Member Perks are how the co-op tracks your participation within the co-op.

  • Enjoy your benefits and stay informed of specials and sales by keeping the co-op updated with your contact information including address, phone and email. To update your information, notify your cashier at check-out or email us with any changes.
