Changes For Staff In Response To Coronavirus

We’ve had many questions about how Community Co-op Market is supporting our staff, so we thought we’d share with everyone the steps we’re taking to keep our staff well taken care of:

• All staff will receive a temporary $2 per hour “Essential Community Worker” raise in pay

• All staff was given a $50 gift card to use as they see fit

• We’re selling select Wellness products to staff at the lowest price possible

• We’re allowing staff to work from home when possible

• We’ve installed plastic shields at the register to protect cashiers

• We’ve supplied gloves and masks to every staff member

• We’ve shortened store hours to limit exposure

• We’re changing our standard procedures to include social distancing
